Tony Mowbray’s men are looking to maintain an unbeaten start to the year by beating Brentford at Griffin Park on Saturday.
Here’s our guide to the game…
STATE OF PLAY
Rovers made it four league wins in a row with a dominant 3-0 victory over in-form Hull City at Ewood Park last weekend.
Adam Armstrong opened the scoring before Jack Rodwell headed in his first goal for the club. Harrison Reed added a third – the loanee’s first at Ewood.
That victory propelled Rovers up to 8th position in the Sky Bet Championship table.
Another win against the Bees could see Tony Mowbray’s side move into the play-off positions, depending on other results.

Thomas Frank’s side have an Emirates FA Cup Fourth Round Replay to contend with just three days after this game, following a 3-3 draw away at Barnet on Monday night.
