Matchday timetable: Middlesbrough (H)

Find out everything that's going on at Ewood Park on Sunday for the big Championship clash!

16 February 2019

What's going on at Ewood throughout Sunday? We host Middlesbrough at Ewood Park and here's our matchday timetable for the main event against the Blues...

Opening Times...

09:00 Roverstore

09:30 Blues

10:30 Foster’s FanZone

11:00 Strikers’ Lounge

11:30 Concourses

What’s On...

09:30 Food and drink service begins from as soon as the doors open in Blues.

10:30 The FanZone will be a hive of activity to mark ‘NCS Matchday’ – our annual celebration of the Community Trust’s successful National Citizen Service programme. Come along and speak to our NCS Youth Board and delivery staff at their information stall promoting the benefits of the programme, as well as listening out for CPR demonstrations and interviews on stage with the key participants to heighten awareness and excitement for the opportunity.

11:15 Time to start looking out for Rovers Return sellers. Can we beat last weekend’s jackpot of £552?

12:25 We need a confident youngster aged 16 or under to read out the Rovers team news in the Foster’s FanZone – are you up to the challenge in exchange for a goodie bag?

12:50 Junior club FC Strikerz join our NCS Youth Board members to form this afternoon’s pre-match guard of honour.

12:57 Time to greet the teams and make plenty of noise to wow the TV audience watching around the world! Daniel Parker has the honour of accompanying the players and officials as the afternoon’s referee mascot. The match mascot for the day is William Dominik.

12:58 Please join us in observing a minute’s applause in memory of two footballing greats, who both represented England with pride. Our former centre forward Fred Pickering will be in our thoughts after passing away last weekend, as will World Cup winning goalkeeper Gordon Banks, who we sadly lost during the week. We’re sure that both sets of supporters will do the two legends of the game proud.

13:48 Members of our NCS Youth Board will talk to the crowd about their project, conduct the Rovers Return draw and then parade their NCS Social Action Stars Awards (that they won last year in recognition of their support for visual impairment support charities) to the crowd. If you miss the results on the PA system, you can find them online via rovers.co.uk or @BRFCTrust on Facebook and Twitter. If you win, please speak to your nearest stand supervisor to try and make a claim while you’re at the stadium or call us on 01254 508256 during normal office hours.

13:50 Make sure you show your encouragement for the junior players from FC Strikerz as they take part in our half-time penalty shoot-out demonstration.

16:00 Stay on to end your weekend in style within Blues, with live music courtesy of Tone Junkies rounding off what we hope will be an enjoyable weekend for us all. The acclaimed Liverpool-based three-piece rock and acoustic band have supported 10cc and The Fun Loving Criminals, so expect a repertoire of upbeat classics that you can sing along to ... and hopefully celebrate to!
