A number of Rovers fans are spending this evening with some of the biggest names from the club’s history – for one night only!
A host of club legends will come together this evening at Ewood Park as the Blackburn Rovers Former Players Association launch the inaugural Rovers Hall of Fame.
Rovers greats Alan Shearer, Brad Friedel, Bryan Douglas, Derek Fazackerley and Simon Garner will all be in attendance at the event, which will be held in the Premier Suite. It is sure to be a night to remember!
The five star names amassed an amazing 2,289 appearances in Rovers colours and hold a host of club records between them.
Also to be inducted are club icons Ronnie Clayton and Bob Crompton, and we are delighted to confirm that members of both Ronnie and Bob's families will be joining us for the launch.
The seven stars will be the first Rovers contingent to be named in the Hall of Fame, with other heroes to be added on an annual basis.
We will have a full round-up of the night's event along with a gallery later this week.
