Rovers have been drawn against Accrington Stanley in the semi-finals of the Lancashire FA Senior Cup.
It has been mutually agreed that the tie will take place at Rovers’ Academy base in Brockhall Village on Monday February 11th, kick-off 1pm.
Rovers secured a bye in the first round, after Preston North End were unable to fulfil the fixture, before Damien Johnson’s side thrashed Blackpool 6-0 to book their place in the last four.
John Buckley, Jack Vale, Joe Grayson, Okera Simmonds and Jack Evans were all on target in the emphatic victory over the Seasiders.
Accrington won 4-0 away at Morecambe in the first round, before beating Bury 3-0 in the quarter-finals.
It is the third season in succession that Rovers have reached the semi-final stage, suffering penalty shoot-out defeats to Fleetwood and Bury in the last two years.
Supporters are welcome to attend the game, with entry free of charge. In the event of the scores being level at the end of 90 minutes, the winner of the tie will be determined by penalties.
The other semi-final sees Rochdale host Burnley.
