Rovers top scorer Bradley Dack is aware of the challenge he and the team face later this afternoon, but is backing Tony Mowbray's men to continue their fine form in the Championship.
Griffin Park is the venue for today's clash against Brentford, who Rovers have beaten in each of the last four meetings.
But whilst Rovers are flying, the Bees have also turned a corner under Thomas Franke, finding themselves unbeaten in their last nine games in all competitions.
“Griffin Park is always a really tough place to go. It’s a tight pitch, enclosed, the crowd are right on top of you," he said to iFollow Rovers ahead of the long trip south.
“They are a good side and I think their position in the table is a little bit false. They pass the ball around really well and have a good centre forward.
“It’s a tough game, as every match is at this level, but we have confidence and belief that we can get the result.
“The play-offs are the aim for us now. It’s not something we thought about at the start of the season, but we’re in the mix now.
“It’s nice to be the one chasing teams down above us. There’s pressure on those sides to keep things up, and there’s even less pressure on us because not many expect us to get in there after coming up from League One."
