Adam Armstrong says Rovers can only treat their 16 remaining fixtures in the 2018-19 season as "cup finals".
Armstrong's terrific January has seen the diminutive frontman nominated for the Sky Bet Player of the Month award.
The 21-year-old's goals and assists helped fire Rovers right into the play-off chase, with four wins from the last five games ahead of this weekend's home clash with Bristol City.
“Bristol City are right next to us in the table at the moment, so hopefully we can stop their good run and boost our own chances like we did against Hull City," he told iFollow Rovers.
“We’ve had a great atmosphere at Ewood and have been playing really well at home.
“We have some big teams still to come to us, so hopefully we can get a few new faces there and add to the attendances.
“We seem to have more freedom at home and don’t worry about the opposition too much.
“Hopefully the fans can be massive for us on Saturday, because we have 16 cup finals left if we’re going to get in those play-offs."
