Tony Mowbray has made six changes to his starting XI for today’s clash against Bristol City at Ashton Gate.

A reshuffle in defence sees Amari’i Bell come in for Stewart Downing at left back, whilst Bradley Johnson makes his first appearance in the last nine games in replacing Corry Evans and partners up with Lewis Travis in midfield.

There’s a first league start of the season for Ben Brereton as he plays in attack instead of the benched Adam Armstrong, with Lewis Holtby coming in to replace the suspended Bradley Dack, who misses out following his sending off at Swansea City in midweek.

On the other flank, Joe Rothwell, who played under Robins boss Lee Johnson during a loan stint at Barnsley, drops to the bench and is left out in place of former Bristol City loanee Elliott Bennett, with Sam Gallagher starting up front in place of Danny Graham.

Kick-off is at 3pm and if you can't make the game then you can track all the action on iFollow Rovers and our social media channels.

Rovers: Walton, Nyambe, Lenihan, Adarabioyo, Bell, Travis, Johnson, Bennett (c), Holtby, Brereton, Gallagher.

Substitutes: Leutwiler, Armstrong, Rothwell, Graham, Downing, Evans, Buckley.

Referee: John Brooks
