Rovers return to action in Premier League 2 this evening with Ewood Park playing host for the visit of Leicester City.

Rovers will be aiming to get back on track after suffering an away defeat to Arsenal last week, whilst Leicester earned an excellent home victory over Premier League 2 Division 1 champions Everton in their previous game.

The high-flying Foxes currntly sit third in the Premier League 2 table after 12 games and could move top of the division with either a draw or a triumph against Billy Barr's side, depending on results elsewhere.

Steve Beaglehole's team are also on an eye-catching 11-game unbeaten streak and have won each of their previous eight outings in all competitions.

The reverse fixture at the King Power Stadium back in August was an entertaining affair, in Barr's first outing as Development Squad chief.

A second half strike from Joe Grayson ensured Rovers picked up a point after Ali Reghba's early opener for the hosts had handed the Foxes a half time advantage.

In terms of team news this time around, Ben Gladwin is expected to get more minutes under his belt having played in the last two outings - featuring for 45 minutes against Burnley before an hour at Arsenal a week ago.

The 27-year-old could line up alongside Richie Smallwood, who also featured in the capital for Billy Barr's side against the Gunners.

Brad Lyons could well be pushing for a starting berth having come off the bench to mark his comeback from injury, but the game is likely to come too soon for the sidelined Louie Annesley.

The visitors could include George Hirst - the son of former England striker David Hirst - in their team, whilst Callum Wright - a former Rovers Academy graduate - is likely to be a part of the visiting squad having scored against Everton last time out.

The lads need your support, so come along and get your Ewood Park Friday night fix.
