Rovers have been drawn away to Preston North End in the semi-finals of the Lancashire FA Senior Cup.

The tie will take place at Preston’s training ground, Springfields, on Tuesday January 28th, kick-off 1.30pm.

Billy Barr’s side booked their place in the last four of the competition courtesy of a 4-3 victory over Everton in the quarter-finals, having defeated Accrington Stanley 2-0 in the first round.

Preston defeated Chorley 4-1 in the first round, before being handed a walkover win over Barrow in the quarter-finals.

If the scores are level at the end of 90 minutes, the tie will be decided by penalties. Ticket information will be confirmed in due course.

Rovers lifted the trophy for the first time since 2011 last season, defeating local rivals Burnley 2-0 in the final at the LFA County Ground in May.
