Following an excellent November, Tony Mowbray has been nominated for the Manager of the Month award.

Victories against Sheffield Wednesday, Barnsley, Brentford and Stoke City saw Rovers triumph in four of their five encounters in the penultimate month of 2019.

Those victories have seen Rovers shoot up the table and currently sit in 10th place in the Championship table.
Mowbray's men have continued that fine November run at the beginning of this month having beaten Derby County 1-0 at Ewood Park before a draw at Swansea City on Wednesday evening.

Mowbray will be up against table-topping Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa, West Bromwich Albion chief Slaven Bilic and Fulham's Scott Parker.

The winner will be announced on Friday 13th December, with the judging panel comprising of Sky Sports’ EFL League expert Don Goodman, EFL Communications Director Mark Rowan and Sky Bet EFL Trader Ivor Davies.

Mowbray has history of Manager of the Month awards and triumphed in January 2018 and two years ago in November 2017 during an excellent month in our promotion-winning League One campaign.

The winner of the award will be announced tomorrow morning.

Good luck, boss!
