Rovers return to action later this afternoon as Tony Mowbray's men aim to turn a good week into a great one by picking up three points against Cardiff City at Ewood Park.

Neil Warnock's side head to East Lancashire off the back of a late home victory over Huddersfield Town on Wednesday night, where ex-Rover Junior Hoilett scored the winner.

The Bluebirds have lost their first two away games in the Championship so far, whilst Rovers come into the game fresh from a second successive 1-0 victory, the latest coming away at Hull City on Tuesday.

Greg Cunningham is ineligible against his parent club, with Amari'i Bell back in contention for the left back berth.

Mowbray confirmed this week that Tosin Adarabioyo and Ben Brereton could return to the squad, with both players missing the clashes with Middlesbrough and Hull through injury.

Cardiff will be without midfielder Marlon Pack, with Warnock announcing that the ex-Bristol City playmaker will be out for the next two months.

Hoilett, who came through the Rovers Academy, could start following his match-winning midweek display, whilst the giant pairing of Aden Flint and Sean Morrison are expected to be partners in the City backline.

Kick-off today is at 3pm, and if you can't make it to Ewood then you can catch all the action on iFollow Rovers and our social media channels.
