Tony Mowbray has revealed that defensive pair Tosin Adarabioyo and Derrick Williams could appear for the first time this season when Rovers head to Fulham this weekend.
Adarabioyo arrived last week on a season-long loan from Manchester City, but was left out of the squad for the opening day of the season against Charlton Athletic.
Meanwhile, Williams, who missed all of pre-season with a troublesome injury, returned to full training this week, with Mowbray confirming that the Irishman is back in contention for the clash at Craven Cottage.
“We have to assess this week where Tosin is, where Derrick Williams is," Mowbray said in the lead up to the journey down to the capital.
“They haven’t done much training. I think Tosin has been in the building for a week or so now, but he’s only had about three training sessions and needs to see more of how we play.
“We’ll pick a team that will look to cause Fulham problems. We’ll see after today, we’ll see who’s fit.
“Scott Parker will have learnt a lot about himself as a human being. Just with the riches of talent he’s got, alongside the relegation, there will be a lot of dissatisfaction," he added.
“Scott will be looking to keep everyone together, keep things tight. He’ll look to get everyone pulling in the same direction and to keep looking forward to the next game."
