Rovers Under-18s signed off their season in emphatic fashion after confidently brushing aside Newcastle United at the Magpies' academy base.
A Chanka Zimba brace helped the youngsters to the victory, with further goals from James Connolly, Sam Durrant, Luke Brennan and Harry Leonard helping Rovers to a convincing win.
A third straight win in the league means Billy Barr's side finish the campaign in seventh place, comfortably clear of any relegation danger.
But on Tyneside it was the hosts - who ended the season one place off the bottom - who took the lead early on through Tom Cole, who found a way past Jordan Eastham after only 16 minutes of play.
Rovers showed that fight and determination to battle back though, with Zimba finding an equaliser before Connolly put the visitors in front just before half time.
Durrant added a third just 10 minutes into the second half, before Rovers ran riot with three goals in the final 30 minutes.
Brennan got in on the act and then youngster Harry Leonard added his first goal for the Under-18s on his first outing off the bench, prior to Zimba completing his double in the final moments to seal an emphatic win for Barr's boys.
