Rovers Ladies are aiming to retain the FA Women’s National League Cup when they face Crawley Wasps in the Final on Sunday.
The showpiece event is being held at Burton Albion FC’s Pirelli Stadium, with Rovers looking to keep hold of the trophy they won for the first time by beating Leicester City 3-1 in last season’s Final.
Rovers saw off Southern Premier Division side Loughborough Foxes 4-0 in the last four back in March to book their place in Sunday’s Final.
Here’s our guide to the game…
STATE OF PLAY
Rovers come into the game off the back of a 4-0 win over Huddersfield Town Ladies last Tuesday.
Two goals from both Saffron Jordan and Natasha Flint secured a sixth win in a row for Gemma Donnelly’s side as they continue to finish the league season strongly.
As always, we'll bring you team news and live updates on the game via social media. Fans can follow all the action on our official Twitter account, @RoversLadies, with kick-off scheduled for 2pm.
Sophie Charlton is cup tied and ineligible for the Final. But there are no fresh injury concerns and Donnelly has a fully fit squad to choose from.
Crawley have won the FA Women’s National League Division One South East in their first season at that level and will compete in the third tier of women’s football next season.
The Wasps are 10 points clear with two games to go in their season, having collected 55 points from their 20 games.
The South Eastern outfit beat Ipswich Town Ladies 2-1 last weekend to follow up a 1-0 win over Enfield Town Ladies.
Tickets for Sunday’s Final are priced at £5 for adults, £2.50 for concessions, £1 for Under-10s and free of charge for Under-3s. They are available on the gate. Free parking is available at the ground.
