Tony Mowbray was a happy man after seeing his side return to winning ways with a sublime performance and a well earned three points against an in form Derby County.
Second half strikes from Joe Rothwell and Bradley Dack sealed the victory for Mowbray's men, who deservedly put the Rams to the sword following a dominant display.
Rothwell was rewarded for a sparkling individual performance with the opener, his first in Rovers colours, before Dack rounded off a night to remember on home turf by tapping home in the final minute of the encounter.
And speaking afterwards, the boss was thrilled by what he saw from an energetic all round team display.
“We’re happy with it," he reflected to iFollow Rovers.
"The run went on for too long, but as I’ve always said, we have some amazingly gifted footballers who care about the team and the club.
“Yes we’ve had some anxiety in some tight home games, but I thought we got the balance right when to go to Danny Graham and when to play it out from the back. We were brave tonight.
“I thought [Harrison] Reed and [Lewis] Travis were very good tonight, as was Craig Conway.
“They all did well tonight and it was great to see Bradley score as well. He was a bundle of energy tonight, back to the Bradley Dack who is like a kid in the playground when he charges around, wins the ball back, puts tackles in.
“He linked up with Danny well against a good football team who like to play. Dack and Graham were like terriers and the game plan worked really well.
“Hopefully we can enjoy the rest of the season after reaching 50 points, not that I want the team to rest on their laurels."
