Whether you prefer a superb solo effort, a terrific team goal or a moment of magic - Rovers' 2018-19 Goal of the Season competition is sure to prove as popular as ever.

The club launched the award - The Peter White Memorial Trophy - in conjunction with the Lancashire Telegraph 18 years ago, in memory of Rovers reporter Peter White.

We've shortlisted eight great goals and here's your chance to pick your favourite finish...

Bradley Dack (2nd) vs. Carlisle United
Brunton Park

Lewis Travis plays the ball into the feet of Bradley Dack, who spins on a sixpence before curling a superb shot from 20 yards out into the top right corner.

Adam Armstrong vs. Nottingham Forest
Ewood Park

Elliott Bennett hits a delightful 'diag' to Bradley Dack, who controls the ball beautifully, before teeing up Adam Armstrong, who chips Costel Pantilimon from the corner of the area.

Harrison Reed vs. West Bromwich Albion
The Hawthorns

The ball breaks to Harrison Reed on the left and the midfielder cuts infield before unleashing a sumptuous strike into the far corner from 25 yards out.

Bradley Dack vs. Sheffield Wednesday
Ewood Park

Paul Downing picks up possession, waltzes past Barry Bannan, threads the ball through to Danny Graham, who centres for Bradley Dack to convert a fine flowing move at the far post.

Danny Graham (3rd) vs. Sheffield Wednesday
Ewood Park

Richie Smallwood reverses the ball back to Bradley Dack, who takes it in his stride before teeing up Danny Graham to complete his first career hat-trick in 10 years.

Charlie Mulgrew vs. Middlesbrough
Riverside Stadium

After Mo Besic is sent off for tugging back Bradley Dack, set-piece specialist Charlie Mulgrew steps up to fire a fantastic 30-yard free-kick past Darren Randolph.

Bradley Dack vs. West Bromwich Albion
Ewood Park

Adam Armstrong does brilliantly on the left touchline before spotting the run of Bradley Dack, who cuts inside the last defender and curls a sublime left-foot shot into the top corner from the edge of the area.

Joe Nuttall vs. Ipswich Town
Ewood Park

Elliott Bennett's laser-like defence-splitting through ball finds the run of Adam Armstrong, who centres for substitute Joe Nuttall to slam the ball home with his first touch.

Joe Rothwell vs. Nottingham Forest
The City Ground

A piece of brilliance from Joe Rothwell, who brilliantly beats 6 ft 8 in goalkeeper Costel Pantilimon with a superb curling effort from just inside the box, which arrows into the top corner of the net.
