Tony Mowbray is hopeful that Lewis Travis will be fine to play a part in the weekend trip to Norwich City.

The young midfielder limped off with an injury on the stroe of half time in the Easter Monday victory over Bolton Wanderers.

A regular in the side since becoming a fixture in the team at the beginning of 2019, Travis has been one of the stand out performers this term.

But when asked about whether the 21-year-old will miss out on the journey to Carrow Road on Saturday night, Mowbray believes the knock won't keep Travis out long-term.

“He didn’t come into the dressing room at half time," Tony revealed to reporters after the game against already relegated Bolton.

“He went straight into the physios’ room and I stuck my head in to be told that he wouldn’t be available for the second half.

“I think it’s just a dead leg, not a muscle strain, just a kick. We’ll put the ice on it and hopefully it’ll settle down by the weekend when we head to Norwich."
