Andrew's charity fun run - from Wales!

Rovers supporter is running to Ewood Park from Swansea for local worthy causes

27 April 2019

Rovers fan Andrew Williams is today embarking on an epic charity challenge.

The 33-year-old is running to our final fixture of the season against Swansea City ... all the way from the Liberty Stadium!

Andrew, who is setting off today, plans to run between 35-40 miles each day, before arriving at Ewood Park ahead of our game against the Swans on Sunday May 5th.

The life-long Rovers fan hopes his 200-mile marathon will raise thousands of pounds for local worthy causes in both Blackburn and Swansea.

Andrew, who is calling on fans from both clubs to lend their support, is running for the following four chosen charities:

- Singleton Hospital, Swansea, Baby Special Care Unit
- Swansea Stormers Down Syndrome Football Team
- Lancashire Hospital, Baby Special Care Centre
- Blackburn Rovers Community Trust
