Rovers can announce that young Development Squad pair Lewis Thompson and Lewis Mansell have both gone out on loan deals to FC United of Manchester.
The duo, who have both been a part of Damien Johnson's Under-23s squad, will spend the next month on loan at the National League North outfit.
The youngsters will head straight into the squad for the home league game against Southport tomorrow afternoon.
The switch to Broadhurst Park will give them both a chance to play regular first team football for the Red Rebels, who are currently in the relegation zone in the division.
Left back Thompson and striker Mansell will return to Rovers following the expiry of their loan deals on Saturday 6th October.
The youngsters are the latest of Johnson's squad to earn a loan move following Matty Platt's temporary switch to near neighbours Accrington Stanley and Lewis Hardcastle's move to League Two side Port Vale.
Good luck, lads.
