Rovers star Bradley Dack says he can't wait for the month ahead, with a number of challenging but appealing games for Tony Mowbray's team to contend with.
After a first defeat of the season at Bristol City earlier in the month, Rovers can potentially get back on track when Aston Villa visit Ewood Park on Saturday 15th September.
A trip to Derby County follows three days later and then we head to recently relegated Stoke City at the end of the week.
A long journey down to Dorset to take on AFC Bournemouth in the Carabao Cup is then next on the agenda before big-spending Nottingham Forest come to East Lancashire to conclude the month.
“We have some tough games coming up over the next few weeks, and it's important to get back on track, learn from the defeat at Bristol City and come back stronger," Dack said.
“We know we have a good side here. Everyone works hard and gives 100% in training and in games. These are the games we look forward to – the Villas, the Stokes, the Derbys.
“These are the games that we worked so hard to earn last season with promotion. It's a tough and challenging month ahead, but we believe in ourselves and each other and we'll look back and see how we did at the end of the month."
And now fit again, Bradley admits that all he's focussed on now is getting out on the pitch in the blue-and-white.
“It's been a week that has seen things go on behind the scenes with me, but it's sorted and is behind me now so the focus is all on the football from here on in."
