Rovers boss Tony Mowbray has made three changes for the trip to Derby County's Pride Park for tonight's Championship encounter.
Skipper Charlie Mulgrew is out of the squad due to illness, with Derrick Williams slotting into the Scotland international's vacant centre back spot.
Kasey Palmer also returns against his former club, taking the place of another ex-Ram in Danny Graham, which means Adam Armstrong plays as the central striker.
The other switch sees Craig Conway earn a first start of the season in place of Elliott Bennett, who takes his place on the bench.
Incidentally, Conway scored the winning goal the last time the two sides met at Ewood Park, which was actually Mowbray's first victory in charge of Rovers.
For the hosts, ex-Rover Tom Lawrence is unavailable, with the Wales international suspended for tonight's clash having been sent off at Rotherham United on Saturday. Craig Bryson came in for the winger.
Lawrence is one of three changes made by Frank Lampard from their last outing, the other two seeing Martyn Waghorn and Tom Huddlestone dropping to the bench in place of Mason Bennett and experienced former Preston striker David Nugent.
Kick-off at Pride Park is 7.45pm and you can follow all the action via our social media channels or listen to exclusive commentary on iFollow Rovers.
