Adam Armstrong returns to the XI for Rovers against Bristol City after injury, with the young frontman one of two changes from our last league outing against Brentford.
The Geordie hitman missed the game against the Bees after limping off against Reading earlier in that week, but returns to start against the Robins in place of Joe Rothwell, who drops to the bench.
Also coming into the side is Danny Graham, fresh from a goal against Lincoln City in the Carabao Cup in midweek, and he replaces Joe Nuttall, who is available as a substitutes.
Former Bristol City man Derrick Williams is also named in the squad having missed the last few matches. Williams appeared 131 times in all competitions during his three-year spell at Ashton Gate and is named as a substitute.
New signings Harrison Reed and Ben Brereton are both included in the squad, with the pair taking their place on the bench this afternoon.
The hosts include recent signing Tomas Kalas in their XI, with the Czech defender joining on loan from Chelsea recently.
Top scorer Andreas Weimann continues to lead the line for Lee Johnson's side. The Austrian has five goals in his opening five Championship games for his new club since joining from Derby County in the summer.
