Tony Mowbray says his Rovers squad are "on the mend" ahead of Saturday's trip to Stoke City and confirms Charlie Mulgrew is expected to return.
Mulgrew missed out on the draw at Derby County in midweek due to an illness, but is set to mark a return to the team at the bet365 Stadium this weekend.
And there is good news on Elliott Bennett too, who was placed on the bench before entering the action in the second half against Derby in midweek.
“We’re on the mend. Charlie trained today and injury wise I don’t think there’s any fresh worries for us," Tony said in the build up to the trip to Stoke.
“We’ve had a light day of training. The substitutes and the fringe players maybe do a little bit more but it’s been a light day.
“There are a few little bumps, bruises and niggles but nothing serious.
“We’ll do some more tactical on work tomorrow before we head down to the Potteries.
“Bennett is a really important player for the team who sets the standards in terms of work rate for the team.
“I had to pick a game where he had to sit on the bench. He had a huge bruising on the top of his foot with an indent of stud marks, so he was stood on against Aston Villa. That was really the deciding factor for me to place him on the bench on Tuesday."
