Rovers fans will have noticed our new LED boards around Ewood Park in recent weeks, and we’ve decided to tell you a little bit about them.
The pitchside LED PI 8 High definition boards made their debut in our entertaining 2-2 draw with Reading last month.
The boards were ordered in the summer following the club’s promotion back to the Championship and Business Development Manager Danny Davis believes they will prove to be superb additions to the commercial area for the club.
“We were looking to bring in a new main partner and we wanted to make sure we delivered some great advertising,” he said.
"This is all part of the drive to uplift our stadium. Only one other club in the Championship now doesn’t have digital LED.
“The definition of the boards are of the highest quality, and how these screens can be used moving forward is something to get very excited about."
The boards can be seen around three sides of Ewood Park, with plans already taking place to add boards in front of the Riverside Stand.
They will also provide an excellent opportunity for businesses and our partners through the digital advertising, giving organisations a fantastic way to show coverage of their brand on television and locally.
The boards have been provided by Darwen-based business Alpha LED. To find out more about the organisation, please click here.
