He's only been at the club a short while, but Kasey Palmer says he's been impressed with the desire shown in the Rovers camp.

The forward signed prior to the start of the season and has been in East Lancashire for just over the month, and he believes that good times are on the horizon for Rovers.

The 21-year-old, who will remain with us until the end of the season from Premier League side Chelsea, has impressed in his outings this season, scoring three times, including the winner against Brentford at Ewood Park.

And he thinks the attitude in the squad will see Rovers push every opponent to the limit this term.

“The way the manager sets up up is perfect and the spirit in the camp is brilliant. The mood is good and we all work hard for each other," Kasey told iFollow Rovers when reflecting on his honeymoon period at Rovers.

“We have belief and a superb attitude. If you have the heart and desire we have as a squad then that can take you such a long way.

“No matter who is on the pitch the principles and demands are the same. Everyone has to keep moving forward. We’ve competed against three good teams in the last week or so.

“We have a determined group who have been in every single game this season," he added.

“It’s a tough, tight league. The top can beat the bottom and vice-versa. The league is so tight at the minute and it’s hard to read too much into it, but we’re pleased with our start."
