He's less than a week old, but is already part of the Rovers family!

Finn Brown is yet to utter his first word, but he’s already showing his support for Blackburn Rovers by being named as the youngest ever member of Junior Rovers… at less than a week old!

After arriving into the world last Friday, the little bundle of joy from Leyland has already been the subject of many ‘who will he support’ debates, with mum Laura being a long-standing Rovers fan, whereas proud dad Martin follows Sunderland.

In order to help him make the right decision, Blackburn Rovers Community Trust have chosen to donate one of the membership packs they receive as part of their sponsorship of Junior Rovers to Finn, so that he will hopefully grow up to follow the team in blue and white like several generations of his family, including older brother Josh.

Finn’s mum Laura will be a familiar face to many supporters who sit in the Blackburn Rovers Community Trust Family Stand, as she is one of the assistants in the Game Room on matchdays. Upon receiving the membership pack, she explained:

“It’s really nice to receive a selection of Rovers gifts for Finn and it’s something a little bit different to all the baby-related presents we’ve received this week.

“Obviously if Finn grows up to enjoy football as much as the rest of the family, it would be nice if we can get him to follow Blackburn too, so I’m sure that his older brother Josh will look after the membership pack for him and help him to make the right decision!

“He’s probably a bit too young to take full advantage of some of the special events that are held for older Junior Rovers members, but hopefully we can introduce Finn to Rover The Dog when he’s a little bit older and see if we can take it from there!”

Do you have a friend or family member who could become an even younger Junior Rovers member than Finn Brown? Whether you’re aged 17 hours, 17 days, 17 months or 17 years, there’s a package for every youngster right through to 18-years-old, with a membership backpack containing all sorts of gifts including footballs, USB drives, headphones or colouring sets on offer depending on your age.

All members will also receive a letter from manager Tony Mowbray, a ticket to a game of their choice this season, a membership card and invitations to exclusive members-only events.

All this is available now for the bargain price of just £10 for season ticket holders or £15 for non season ticket holders, covering the remainder of the 2018/19 season.
