Ben Brereton has been in East Lancashire for under a month now, but he's already feeling at home since arriving late on in the summer transfer window from Nottingham Forest.
The England Under-20 international frontman admits settling into life at Rovers has been easy, which is mainly down to the group Tony Mowbray has assembled, Ben says.
“It’s been really good, I’m loving it here and look forward to coming in to training every day, which is as it should be," he said to iFollow Rovers when reflected on his short time so far at the club.
“You have to come into a group and adapt and I feel I have settle in right away. We have some top lads here who are all on the right page.
“There’s no bad eggs here. Everyone’s quality. There are plenty of characters, Dacky’s the main one I’d say. The lads I hang around with most at the moment are Arma [Adam Armstrong] and Reedy [Harrison Reed].
“I’ve got to know everyone quickly and it’s been really good working with the lads.
“The togetherness is unbelievable. Everyone knows their job and the play has been good from what I have seen. It was a good point at Derby and now we’re focussed on Stoke.
“The gaffer knows what he wants. Hard work and quality. The lads buy into it."
