Tony Mowbray has made four changes to his starting lineup for the game at Bolton Wanderers today from the one that played against Sheffield United in midweek.
Skipper Charlie Mulgrew returned to the starting XI having come off the bench against the Blades, and he's joined in the backline by Elliott Bennett, Darragh Lenihan and Derrick Williams.
Jack Rodwell, Joe Rothwell and Kasey Palmer also return, with Amari'i Bell, Richie Smallwood, Corry Evans and Armstrong all dropping to the bench.
Former Rovers captain Jason Lowe starts for the hosts, as does Erhun Oztumer, who played twice against Rovers for Walsall last term.
David Wheater also starts for the Trotters. He played under Tony Mowbray during his time in charge of Middlesbrough.
Kick-off against Wanderers is at 5.30pm and you can follow the action on iFollow Rovers or via our social media channels.
