Having fancy footwork proved particularly beneficial when Derrick Williams and Harrison Reed visited a local primary school.

But it wasn’t their football skills that were put to the test at St Aidan’s Primary School in Blackburn.

For the Rovers duo joined in with a dance class in the school hall, before leading two teams in a fast-paced game of dodgeball out in the playground.

Harrison and Derrick took the activities in their stride, eagerly engaging with the young pupils, who were clearly thrilled to have the Rovers stars in their school.

The popular players rounded off their visit – which was organised by Blackburn Rovers Community Trust, as part of the Premier League Primary Stars programme – by cutting the ribbon to officially open the Mill Hill school’s new MUGA (Multi Use Games Area) facility.

Local schools can have their classroom or playground delivery enriched by enlisting the services of Blackburn Rovers Community Trust, through packages such as Premier League Primary Stars or Kinder +Sport Move and Learn. To discover more, visit
