18:45: The Foster’s Fanzone stage will be welcoming both sets of fans, with a selection of up-beat tunes to gear everyone up for the game.
19:10: Guest presenter Mike Graveston from 2BR will welcome a lucky child onto the FanZone stage to read out tonight’s teams and take home a Rovers goodie bag – first come, first served!
19:35: The Guard of Honour will be conducted by local schools who are working with Blackburn Rovers Community Trust on our School’s Sport Partnership Programme. Tonight’s participants represent the following schools – Avondale Primary, St. Aidan’s Primary, St. Anthony’s Primary, Daisyfield Primary, Brookhouse Primary, St. Stephens C of E (Blackburn) Primary and St. Peters (Darwen) Primary. They will also be joined by participants from our inclusion programme to welcome both teams onto the Ewood Park pitch.
19:42: The teams will be emerging from the tunnel, with Referee Mascot Farrell Saturley accompanying the match officials as we continue our new initiative to encourage referees of the future.
20:35: Rovers Return lottery draw. If you don’t hear the announcement over the PA system, check out the Community Trust’s Facebook and Twitter accounts (@BRFCTrust) or the club’s website at rovers.co.uk for all the results.
20:40: The seven local schools will also be walking around the pitch at half-time to show off their creative creations from our design a flag competition – showing the great links between the school and Blackburn Rovers Community Trust.
