Tony Mowbray says he loves working with playmaker Bradley Dack, who now has eight goals in his first few months of Championship football.

The 24-year-old scored again on the road at the weekend to win the game for Rovers in the local derby against Bolton Wanderers with a first half strike.

And Mowbray has hailed the impact from Rovers' top scorer, who was in the right place at the right time to punish Wanderers with a neat finish after 21 minutes.

Dack's goal ensured Rovers moved up to ninth position in the Championship table heading into the international break.

“Bradley’s a number 10, but he’s someone who gets in the box. Not many players who play in the number 10 position do that.

“I didn’t think he had the greatest game, but he worked really hard for the team, fitted into the wide areas when he had a job to do and ultimately got the goal that won the game.

“He’s a fantastic lad, a brilliant individual and he comes in every day with a great big smile on his face.

“He’s a joy to manage, we’re delighted to have him and let’s hope he keeps scoring those goals."
