Rovers playmaker Bradley Dack says the team are itching to get back on track at Ewood Park and have been buoyed by going into the international break with a win at Bolton Wander
Rovers sit in 10th place in the Championship table and take on one of the much fancied sides for promotion this season when Leeds United visit later today for the lunchtime kick-off.
And Dack can't wait to dust off his boots and play following a two week period without a match.
“It’s one of those games you really want to play in. There’s going to be a lot of fans at Ewood and we’ll relish the occasion," he said.
"We’ve trained hard and we’re looking forward to it. Let’s hope we can get another three points!
“Leeds have shown how good they can be this season, so it will be a good gauge for us to see where we’re at and test ourselves. We’ve played against a few of the top teams and have done okay.
"We obviously lost to Sheffield United, who are one of those teams, but on another day I thought we might have got something from the game. But, as I say, we’re all really looking forward to Saturday.
“You can’t have a week off in this league, you have to be on it in every match, or you’ll get turned over. I think losing is a habit in the same way that winning is a habit; if you start losing, it can spiral. On the flip side, winning games is a habit too.
“It’s relentless, everyone says it’s one of the hardest leagues to get out of, but it’s something I’m really enjoying. You have to look after yourself to keep yourself fit for the season."
