Andrew Williams is limbering up for a monumental charity challenge.
A life-long Rovers fan, Andrew hails from Swansea and is planning to attend the final day fixture between the two clubs next May … on foot!
The 33-year-old intends to set off from the Liberty Stadium on Tuesday April 30th and run between 35-40 miles each day, before arriving at Ewood Park for the season finale on Sunday May 5th.
And he is calling on fans from both clubs to lend their support.
Andrew, who is head coach of the Swansea City Down’s Syndrome Football Team, hopes his 200-mile marathon will raise thousands of pounds for local worthy causes in both Blackburn and Swansea.
We will provide further updates about Andrew’s epic charity challenge and how you can donate early in the New Year.
