Ahead of another home game this evening, Derrick Williams says Rovers feel that confidence of playing at Ewood Park as soon as they walk through the doors.
Rovers come into tonight's clash against Sheffield United under the lights on the back of a 25-game unbeaten run on home turf which goes back over a year.
And ahead of another match in the middle of a hectic schedule tonight against the Blades, Williams wants the "fortress" to continue helping Rovers pick up at the very least a point.
“We’re improving with every game I think. We’re looking forward now after the draw against Nottingham Forest. Such small details can have a massive part in how you do in the Championship," he reflected to iFollow Rovers.
“The fact we’re disappointed not to have more points on the board shows you how far we’ve come under the gaffer.
“We work for each other, put our bodies on the line and get blocks in.
“We try to make it difficult for teams to come to Ewood. We are probably more attacking at home and I think some teams are scared of us.
“We’re in good form, it’s a fortress for us and that can play a massive part in how we do this season. We have confidence and you can feel that lift as soon as you walk into Ewood."
