Danny Graham says Rovers have come a long way in the last 18 months, but insists the players aren't getting carried away by recent results.
Following victory over QPR last time out, the Blues can move into the Championship play-off places with a win over Rotherham at Ewood Park on Saturday.
Graham says the players are "on a high" after a fantastic start, but will continue to take things one match at a time.
“We’re going into another home game this weekend against Rotherham knowing that, if we get another three points, we could be sitting in the play-offs during the international break, " he said.
“We’re just going to take each game as it comes.
"The gaffer doesn’t want us to get ahead of ourselves; we’re enjoying the season so far and are showing what we can do.
"Rotherham is the next game, so we’ll prepare for that and look for another three points to keep moving forward.
“Our position shows the confidence we’ve got and how far we’ve come.
"Everyone’s on a high but we’re under no illusions that we’ll face a lot of tough games, so just need to keep pulling in the right direction.
"We’re all working hard for each other, so let’s see where it takes us."
