Rovers Under-23s will look to get back to winning ways with victory over Everton in the Premier League Cup on Friday night.
Last time out, the young Blues suffered a 3-0 league defeat against Manchester City, with first-team duo Paul Downing and Lewis Travis both getting 90 minutes.
Next up, it's Everton at the Lancashire FA headquarters in Leyland, and a chance to pick up a confidence-boosting win.
Injuries within the senior squad may mean that the likes of Downing and Travis won't feature here, but Joe Nuttall could again lead the line for Damien Johnson's side.
Meanwhile, defender Jack Evans could return from suspension, but Hayden Carter will serve a one-match ban, having picked up five yellow cards this term.
The sides met in the league earlier this season, with the Toffees running out 3-0 winners.
Friday's clash will be Rovers' second in the Premier League Cup this season, following a 3-1 defeat to Sheffield United last month.
As always, entrance to the match will be free of charge for season ticket holders, and just £3 for non-season ticket holders.
We will be providing live match updates via Twitter, with kick-off scheduled for 7pm.
