For the start of a three-game week, Tony Mowbray has made a trio of changes to his lineup for the clash against Preston North End from the team that started at home to Rotherham before the international break.

There are returns to the starting XI for defensive trio Ryan Nyambe, Charlie Mulgrew and Derrick Williams, who will all begin the game at Deepdale.

Heading out of the side are Amari'i Bell, Jack Rodwell and Danny Graham, who are all available from the bench this afternoon.

Corry Evans isn't risked having represented his country during the two week break, with the Northern Ireland international left out of the squad against North End.

Graham's absence means Adam Armstrong is likely to be leading the line against out near neighbours.

For the hosts, former Rover Paul Gallagher will begin in midfield, but Daniel Johnson and Sean Maguire miss out through injury.

Alan Browne has made Alex Neil's starting XI despite being a doubt due to a knock.

Kick-off at Deepdale is at 3pm, and if you aren't one of the 5,000+ Rovers fans in attendance, you can of course follow all the action via iFollow Rovers or our social media accounts.
