Looked After Children from Blackburn and Darwen were treated to a winning display from Rovers at last Saturday’s game at Ewood Park.
The club donated 150 tickets for the match against QPR, which Rovers won 1-0.
The young people and their carers also got to meet club mascot Rover the Dog.
Councillor Maureen Bateson said: “It’s overwhelming the support offered by Blackburn Rovers and the whole team.
“I would like to thank Steve Waggott, CEO of Blackburn Rovers, for his generosity – it has been lovely to see the children enjoying themselves.
“Having their photos taken with the mascot has been a highlight for them. I am really glad we got a win, as that was the cherry on the cake for the children. It was a fantastic day.”
