Charlie Mulgrew believes that manager Tony Mowbray deserves huge credit for Rovers' upturn in fortunes.
The Rovers skipper says that the signings he has made and the principles of play he has introduced have helped the team get to where they are now.
Mowbray guided Rovers to automatic promotion back to the Championship in his first full season at the club and the side currently sit just two points off the play-off positions with over a third of the games gone.
Mulgrew insists that the Rovers boss has the full support of the whole squad and that they all want to give their all and perform for him on the pitch.
"The biggest part is probably down to him," said the Scotland star.
"He's given us a way of playing, he's brought the players in, it's all down to him.
"We're thankful to have him and hopefully we can do our best for him.
"He's a great guy, very approachable.
"The lads like him, he's very honest and I think he gets the respect of the lads because of that.
"We want to do the best we can for him and this club.
"We've played quite well recently, we're not getting carried away, but the manager has put some game plans in place and they've worked, but we want to do even better.
"It's all down to him. He's brought the players in, he gives us a game plan and we just go out and do our best to execute them."
