Against Rotherham United on Saturday, Rovers will pay tribute to fallen servicemen and women as part of the Remembrance Day commemorations and Armistice Centenary.
This Sunday (November 11th) marks 100 years since the end of the First World War. One century on, the EFL, Premier League, FA and PFA have joined forces under the collective banner of ‘Football Remembers’ to mark the centenary and in Remembrance of all those who have served in conflicts since.
At Ewood Park this weekend, Rovers will join clubs across the country to remember and honour those connected to our clubs, towns and cities who made the ultimate sacrifice.
And we've gone through the archives to dig out some documentation surrounding the club from around that era.
The documents below shares information such as balance sheets and Directors' reports from as early of 1914 through to 1918.
It's certainly worth taking a look at, and it's fair to say both football and the club have changed somewhat since!
