Rovers boss Tony Mowbray says decisions will be made on team selection after tomorrow's training session ahead of the weekend clash with Sheffield Wednesday at Ewood Park.
The boss has revealed a number of his squad are carrying bumps and bruises ahead of the game against the Owls on Saturday.
And following back-to-back defeats for the first time in over a year, it's expected that Mowbray will change things up against Wednesday.
Darragh Lenihan missed Wednesday's game at Wigan Athletic with a hip injury and Tony adds that the Ireland international is touch and go for Saturday.
“Loyalty goes so far, but we shouldn’t throw everything out and start again. It’s a long season with plenty of points to play for," the boss said to iFollow Rovers.
“We’ll pick a team to beat Sheffield Wednesday. It’s not a case of seven or eight going out and seven or eight coming in.
“Darragh has a badly bruised hip and there is a chance he might not make it again. But we have a squad who know the expectations and if Darragh doesn’t make it then we’ll go with someone else.
“We have a few knocks and niggles, as we have most weeks. We’ll decide who is and isn’t available tomorrow before making any calls and we’ll take it from there."
