Rovers playmaker Bradley Dack is seeking a better performance a week on from the win against QPR when Rotherham United visit this weekend.
Dack bagged the winner against the Hoops, and is expecting a similar sort of game when the Millers make the trip to Ewood Park on Saturday afternoon.
And despite their poor record on the road, Dack insists Paul Warne's side have to be taken seriously.
“We have to be better on the ball and find a way to break them down. We expect Rotherham will come with two banks of four and make it hard for us," the 24-year-old told iFollow Rovers.
“But we know they are a good team who have had a decent start to the season.
“We know how they play - they are quite direct and like to hit the frontman early. Defensively the are hard to break down.
“They showed that last season. It was a real battle and I think that’ll be the same for Saturday. We need to be up for it and ready.
“When I think back to the last game against them, I remember a real tough, tough game. We nicked the early goal in the second half but they hung in there and forced a late equaliser."
