Blackburn Rovers have been named Community Club of the Year at the Northwest Football Awards, in recognition of the fantastic work undertaken by the Blackburn Rovers Community Trust.
The annual event, held at Emirates Old Trafford and presented by the BBC's Dan Walker on Monday evening, recognises the best talent of the beautiful game throughout the region.
This year, Rovers were up against four other finalists in Bolton, Preston, Tranmere and Wigan but came out on top, further highlighting what has been an excellent year for the club's official charity.
Back in April, Rovers were named Family Club of the Year and Community Club of the Year at the EFL Awards.
Speaking at Monday's event, Trust CEO Gary Robinson said: “The north-west is a strong area for community departments.
"To be chosen is a massive honour for us and comes down the commitment of the staff who go above and beyond and work their hours and more.
