As one player drops out of the Rovers squad for tomorrow's trip to Wigan Athletic, another returns to the 18 as Tony Mowbray's side aim to get back on track in the Championship.

Following a defeat to Preston North End at the weekend, a response is needed from Mowbray's men, with a trip to the DW Stadium next on the agenda.

And speaking ahead of the game, the boss revealed that Corry Evans is all set for a return to the line-up, but Elliott Bennett will definitely miss out against the Latics through suspension.

“Good players are missed when they are unavailable, and Elliott fits into that category with his energy and versatility," Tony told iFollow Rovers.

“Corry’s available. He was rested after playing two 90 minutes for his country in the break. When there is a midweek game then he could potentially have played five games in seven or eight games.

“I imagine he’ll be back flying and refreshed. We have a core 18 to 20 players and aside from Bennett with his suspension I think we’ll have the same players in the squad.

“We’ll go there looking to cause them problems and to get the three points."
