Rovers supporters will, as usual, occupy the Bill Shankly Kop and turnstiles will open at 1.30pm for Saturday's trip to Preston North End.
The Bill Shankly Kop concourse will sell a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and hot and cold food.
On the last two occasions when Rovers have played at Deepdale, pyrotechnic devices were used by some Rovers supporters. This led to issues on the concourse with thick smoke and on the stand when someone was injured from a thrown pyrotechnic.
Therefore this is an appeal from Rovers supporters not to attempt to bring or use pyrotechnics at Deepdale this Saturday.
For your information, when you arrive at the turnstiles additional search stewards will be deployed together will the use of pyrotechnic detection dogs.
Supporters are advised to arrive early due to the increased search procedures. On Bill Shankly Kop concourse and the stand, CCTV cameras have been upgraded and anyone using a pyrotechnic will be identified. This will lead to a lengthy ban. Police Officers will assist with the detection of pyrotechnics throughout the day.
So please back the lads by making plenty of noise at Deepdale and enjoy what will hopefully be a successful day, but leave the pyros at home for the wellbeing and safety of all Rovers supporters.
