Tony Mowbray says he is waiting to see who is available ahead of his team selection for this weekend's game against QPR.
Rovers were the walking wounded at West Bromwich Albion last weekend, with Charlie Mulgrew, Jack Rodwell and David Raya all being forced off during the clash at The Hawthorns.
But Mowbray's thankful for a week which has not seen a midweek encounter as he looks to patch up his team to go into battle once again on Saturday.
“I gave the lads Monday off as there was so many niggles, bruises and bangs. I thought I’d give them a bit of time as they put so much effort into the performance at the weekend," the boss explained to iFollow Rovers.
“We re-assessed on Tuesday and there were five or six who didn’t train. Today the numbers back training was better and things were vibrant. I think the rest was probably the best thing to happen to the lads this week.
“I’d spent the last few days trying to study QPR and spending time putting bits together, which was nice without a midweek game. We’ve had a week’s preparation on the opposition.
“We’ll crystallise the team tomorrow and send them out Saturday with the aim of getting the three points."
So, who's in and who's out? Mowbray admits the positives are the returns of Ryan Nyambe and Jacob Davenport, but a number of others remain touch and go.
“We’ll see whether Darragh trains tomorrow, but that’s probably doubtful. I’d hope Charlie trains tomorrow," Mowbray said.
“Nyambe is back training now, Davenport is training as well. Jack Rodwell trained today which was good and I think he should be okay.
“David Raya won’t play this weekend. We could take a picture of a panda bear at the moment and show it to the cameras and say that is David!"
