Rovers Ladies midfielder Natasha Fenton was delighted to mark her 100th appearance for the Blues in a 7-0 victory over Nottingham Forest Ladies.
The 20-year-old is the youngest player to reach 100 games in a Rovers shirt.
Fenton said: “It feels really good. I’m just really pleased to get to one hundred. This is my fourth season now and it’s been a long journey to get to where I’m at.”
She signed for Rovers from Blackpool at the age of 13 and then came through Rovers’ Centre of Excellence.
Fenton soon established herself as a key player in centre midfield alongside the experienced duo of captain Lynda Shepherd and Jess Holbrook, both of whom have also made more than a century of Rovers appearances.
“I wouldn’t want to do it with a better bunch of girls. Particularly this season we are doing so well at the moment and it just shows through our performances.”
The midfielder has scored 17 goals for Rovers and there have already been plenty of high points in her career.
“Every week and every game is bringing up different memories and experiences so it’s really enjoyable.
“We won the league undefeated, then there’s the season we did the treble. Hopefully we can make memories again this year, go all the way and get promotion to the Championship and then go from there.
“I feel like my loyalties lie with Blackburn and it’s great to be making such good achievements at the age I’m at.
“I’ve still got a long way to go.”
Here’s to another hundred, Tash!
