Rovers boss Tony Mowbray has been nominated for the Sky Bet Manager of the Month award for April, we are delighted to confirm.
Following a promotion-winning campaign, this will be the fifth time the Rovers supremo has been in the running for the gong, following on from his September, November, January and February nominations.
A month in which Rovers clinched promotion, Mowbray oversaw four wins and two draws in the seven April games, with the team sealing an instant return to the Championship after a 1-0 win against Doncaster Rovers.
The boss is up against Wigan's Paul Cook, Neal Ardley of AFC Wimbledon and Scunthorpe United caretaker manager Nick Daws for the prize.
The judging panel comprises former Ipswich Town manager George Burley, Sky Sports’ EFL League expert Don Goodman; EFL Marketing Director Drew Barrand, League Managers’ Association Director Olaf Dixon and Sky Bet EFL Trader Mikey Mumford.
The winner will be announced at 6am on Friday 4th May.
Good luck, boss!
