Rovers star Bradley Dack believes momentum from promotion will be crucial to the team's hopes in the Championship next season.
The 24-year-old picked up a plethora of prizes for his performances last term, which included the League One Player of the Year and Rovers Player of the Year awards.
He bagged 18 goals in his maiden campaign at Ewood Park but admits all his focus turns to ensuring he and the team are ready for the Championship challenge in 2018-19.
“It’s been a fantastic season for everyone involved," the playmaker confessed. "Everybody could see what it meant to us, and now its important to kick on next season and give things a good go.
“I’ve enjoyed every moment of being here. It’s been great and although I was disappointed to miss the last game due to injury, thankfully we already ensured that we got the job done."
And Bradley adds that the fans can play a massive part in Rovers' fortunes in the second tier, with their superb backing not going unnoticed by the squad.
“When I first came here I realised the size of the club," he said. "We have a huge fanbase which is so strong, which showed what we can do when we had over 28,000 packed into Ewood Park on the last game of the season. Hopefully there will be more attendances like that last season.
“To fill the stadium like we did that day was unbelievable and we want to take that momentum into the Championship next season."
