Danny Graham is desperate to remain a Rover, and is hopeful that there will be good news to come on his contract situation in the near future.
It's been a stellar season for Rovers but for Graham as well, with the striker on 17 goals for the season heading into the final outing of the campaign against Oxford at Ewood Park on Saturday.
And the 32-year-old hitman is eager to ensure it won't be his final appearance for the club on the day.
“I 100% want to stay," the ex-Swansea forward adamantly told iFollow Rovers. "I had a conversation with the gaffer the other day after the Doncaster game and I’m hopeful that the contract gets sorted either before the end of the season or in the summer.
“I want to be here, be part of this club and it really does feel like home now. I’ve really enjoyed my two-and-a-half years here. I think a number of other players will feel the same.
“It’s a great club and the fans have got right behind me since the first day I arrived," he added. "This promotion is for the fans after we let them down with relegation last season."
Rovers are in action for the final time this season when we host Oxford United at Ewood Park. Tickets have been discounted so let’s pack out the park. You can purchase your tickets by clicking here.
